Welcome to the WEH Boys and Girls Clubs Music Clubhouse!

The West End House Boys and Girls Clubs’ mission is to inspire and enable youth from all backgrounds to realize their full potential and become productive, responsible and caring adults. Our after school programs supply kids with a solid foundation, empowering and inspiring Boston’s youth to become responsible citizens and leaders.

The Music Clubhouse is an after school program located in the West End House Boys and Girls Club facility. A unique opportunity to build self-confidence, the Music Clubhouse teaches youth ages 10 to 18 to play, perform, compose and record music. In addition to fostering a life-long appreciation for music and creative expression, the program helps make after school time a postive experience by nurturing the development of critical interpersonal skills.

The Music Clubhouse after school program has four key elements :

• workshops for young people to take group and individual music lessons
• open studio time for clubhouse members to practice, collaborate and explore new instruments and sounds.
• special events – such as open mic night - where clubhouse members can perform for friends and family.
• mentor programs where caring adults become "music buddies" for clubhouse members
